Bummer. Yeah, this really sucks, a curse of the digital age. I'm no lawyer, but about all i can come up with is post your copyright, and sue the violaters. That of course costs money, so again, bummer.

Very sorry to hear this. Of course there are thousands of armchair lawyers on dA who will tell you to sue etc. Unfortunately, copyright laws are not as strong as they should be in this digital age and there are more assholes out there willing to steal your work than you will ever be able to count.

Well I hope you return soon, I'm not sure how you will stop people using your work apart from either NOT uploading or upload copies so small / or with a huge © symbol it wont be worth their time - but that wont show your work off to its full potential, it will be a shame but understandable. Hope to see you and S J soon.
